<< Translated from Italian >>

In July 2022, at the age of 54, after an annual DRE and PSA check (3.9), the urologist checked the previous PSAs and saw the progression in 10 years from 1 to 3.9 and recommended RSM which highlighted doubtful area with PIRADS 4, biopsy done in December 2022, positive 3+3 report in January 2023, followed by lower abdomen CT scan and scintigraphy, fortunately negative.

February 2023 IEO visit, after having examined the report and diskette in multidisciplinary they recommend active surveillance, as does the prof. Rocco Bernardo (San Paolo Milan) (second opinion).

During 2023 he performed several PSA checks which showed no progression.

In December 2023 IEO RNM was performed, confirmed the previous one (a little smaller from 9mm to 7mm), on 3 January I visited the IEO urologist (Dr. Deliu Victor Matei) who prescribed me RNM Fusion (or in-bore or Index), only 4 samples guided by the RNM, gleason result 4+3, the doctor says that it was probably like this before, in any case he put me on the list for solvency surgery, now I'm waiting, let's hope for the best. He reassured me regarding the side effects (erectile dysfunction and incontinence).
