My husband, diagnosed at age of 54 had his surgery in September 2006. His original Gleason was 3+4=7 and this was upgraded after his surgery to 4+3=7. His PSA initially was undetectable at 0.004

He had last HT shot in June 2013 PSA contiues to be undectectable after 1 year of HT. Taking a HT break and will see what happen when his PSA starts to rise again. Neil has been diagosed with a serious and rare illness called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
Neil is no longer taking any treatment. It has been a year in 2014 since he had his last HT shot and after one year his PSA is 0.02 He is dealing with a another disease call Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, also called Steele-Richardson-Olszewski syndrome, is an uncommon brain disorder that causes serious problems with walking, and runs the on the same line as ALS.
