THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN 2016 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.
I had recently retired from the USAF and before retirement I received a physical. No problems.
I enrolled in Tricare and was requested to come in for a physical. My reasoning was I just had one. The doctor did blood work and was concerned with the PSA, and recommended I do a biopsy. I had two small area which came back as cancer.
After a lot of prayer and reading and talking with doctor, my wife and I decided that surgery was the way to go.
Now am 5 years being cancer free. I have check up and blood work done every year. So I can keep on top of the situation.
If I can be of help to anyone going through this give me a shout.
John's current PSA is 0.10 ng/ml. he says "Seven years being cancer free. Just made a move to San Antonio Tx. Son in Law is active in the US Air Force and is going to Afghanistan, so have moved to be closer to family to help out. Being retired military it is our way to help serve our country. I thank God everyday."

This past December went back for my yearly check up, looks like I am working on going on 10 yrs of being Cancer Free.
Ten years cancer free. I now am in a cancer support group to help others. It helps to talk to others who have traveled this way before. I know that it helped me. Life is Good.
Last checkup with doctors this makes 11 yrs. being cancer free. I am active with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in my hometown. In addition I counsel those that are joining the club that no one wants to join.
