THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN 2017 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.
Just got the damn call 10 minutes ago. He wants to do surgery. I don't know how good he is. Can anyone recommend a doctor in the Blue Springs area of Missouri or A outs?
Out of 12 biopsy they found 1% in 1, don't know what that means. Going in Friday for consult.
My wife is crying and I'm feeling fuzzy right now.
Biopsy results today:
Left apex prostate biopsy
Adenocarcinoma, Gleason score 3+4=7 (who grade group 2).
Percentage of prostate tissue involved by tumor - 1%
Maximum linear extent of carcinoma in any core - 1.0 mm
Benign prostatic tissue:
Left base - active chronic inflammation
Left mid - active chronic inflammation
Left lateral base - active chronic inflammation
Left lateral mid - octave chronic inflammation
Case comments
Immunostains for PIN-4 cocktail were performed on block 11
CK903 - loss of basal cell staining in glands of concern
p63 - loss of basal cell staining in glands of concern
amacr - increased cytoplasmic standing in the glands of concern
Control stain appropriately
Now I asked if I can wait till Jan to do surgery and he said that it was kind of long being that my PSA is high and my gland is only 26cc that there could be something else in there missed. Any suggestions?
