Reggie HG lives in Illinois, USA. He was 60 when he was diagnosed in May, 2011. His initial PSA was 6.70 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 8, and he was staged Unknown. His initial treatment choice was External Beam Radiation+ADT (Proton Beam with ADT) and his current treatment choice is None. Here is his story.

THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN 2016 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.

05/13/11 - 3+5 70% biopsy volume.
05/19/11 - began lupron [3-month shot]
06/02/11 - nm bone scan whole body no metastatic osseous disease.
07/14/11 - began proton beam rad.
08/15/11 - second 3-month shot of lupron.
11/01/11 - third 3-month shot of lupron and the last one I took.

Here are my PSA readings:
12/10 - 6.7
06/11 - 4.5
10/11 - 0.3
02/12 - 0.5 testos. 28
06/12 - 0.2
11/12 - 0.11
03/13 - 0.10
07/13 - another bone scan ok.
11/13 - 0.36 testos. 394
06/14 - 0.55
11/14 - 1.20
03/15 - 1.41 testos. 345

I have one urologist that wants me to go back on lupron and another that says to see what PSA goes up to in 6 months and then do another biopsy. I would appreciate any input. I am hoping that the PSA may peak at 2.5 and stay, wishful thinking. Thank you.
