Ron Wayne lives in Washington, USA. He was 50 when he was diagnosed in August, 2014. His initial PSA was 940.00 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 10, and he was staged T4. His initial treatment choice was ADT-Androgen Deprivation (Hormone) (Other) and his current treatment choice is Chemotherapy (Provenge). Here is his story.

THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN 2017 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.

Was feeling sick for awhile and went to doctor who checked me out and said I was healthy. Got phone call two days later and said my PSA; was 940. Had to go to hospital to get bags placed in each kidney cause I was having a blockage in the kidneys. It cleared up 4 month later and had bags removed. Still feeling good but have to start chemo on Tuesday January 27. PSA is down to 0.3

UPDATED

April 2016

I did 6 chemos and PSA went down to .02 and then started to climb. I then had 20 radiation which PSA still kept climbing. It is now 25 so I started Provenge. I'm also on a clinical trial of il7 drug. Hopefully this slows it down.
