Dave Mead and Rayetta live in Arizona, USA. He was 69 when he was diagnosed in August, 2013. His initial PSA was 9.47 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 9, and he was staged T3b. His initial treatment choice was Surgery (Other) and his current treatment choice is None. Here is his story.

THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN 2016 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.

This is a Veteran Administration (VA) Story.

1. On March 23rd 2009, I had my PSA checked and it returned .89, nothing was said about this being a problem.

2. October 26 2009 my PSA was run again. This time the result came back at .80.

3. For what ever reason there was NO activity NO follow up checks until August 6, 2013

4. On August 6, 2013, I had amother PSA done again (finally) the PSA came back this time at 6.17. The Doctor at this time wanted me to have another PSA after I took some kind of pills to see if it might lower the PSA reading. She thought it may have been a false reading.

5. On September 17, 13 my PSA came back at 6.72.

6. October 21, 2013 my PSA came back this time at 7.63 Not nearly enough room here to tell my story.

[Dave -- there is plenty of room to tell as much of your story as you wish. The text box will continue to scroll as much as you need.]
