StPatsDay95 B lives in Pennsylvania, USA. He was 54 when he was diagnosed in March, 2013. His initial PSA was 34.20 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 7, and he was staged T3a. His initial treatment choice was Surgery (Robotic Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) and his current treatment choice is External Beam Radiation. Here is his story.

THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN 2015 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.

It was at end of a relationship that I found need to check on my physical condition. Along with other issues, I was told my PSA was high. After biopsy confirmed the presence of cancer. My urologist suggested surgery due to stage and age (54). April 8, 2013, I was operated on. Six weeks of catheter due to bleeding issues instead of two. Operation was non-stop sparking. Initial PSA indicated undetectable status.

Subsequent test showed at .2 level. Radiation was suggested tx. One more treatment. Current PSA is 0.01. I am part of a research study of three treatments methodology. I had prostate bed only external beam radiation. Today, I am experiencing effects of radiation. It could be worst.

I am reaching out because of the mental and emotional trauma I experience. That's the story in a nutshell.
