Bbqqn86 M lives in Scotland. He was 56 when he was diagnosed in October, 2013. His initial PSA was 45.00 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 7a, and he was staged T3a. His initial treatment choice was External Beam Radiation+ADT and his current treatment choice is None. Here is his story.

THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN 2015 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.

Routine company medical blood test made us aware of PSA level.

This was followed by local MRI that identified tumour and potential of breach of the prostate. No local spread to pelvic area detected.

Biopsy and full body MRI immediately followed and confirmed no spread to bones or other organs. Biopsy confirmed Gleason score 3+4 =7

Hormone treatment started in November with 3 monthly injection for 2 years.

Radiotherapy scheduled for June 6 months after start of HT

Side effects to date include headaches, itchy skin, tiredness, lack of sleep and worst of all anxiety attacks probably as a result of a stressful job now coupled with PCa.
