Woolleypee P and IMO live in England. He was 63 when he was diagnosed in June, 2012. His initial PSA was 8.00 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 8, and he was staged T3a. His initial treatment choice was Surgery (Robotic Laparoscopic Prostatectomy) and his current treatment choice is None. Here is his story.

THERE WAS NO RESPONSE TO AN UPDATE REMINDER IN 2015 SO THERE IS NO UPDATE.

RALP on 20/12/12 with 8 lymph nodes removed. 1 had microscopic PCa cells. Home next day, catheter for 2 weeks, clexane anticoagulant injections for 4 weeks, despite walking 2/3 miles each day from day 4.

Post catheter immediately continent except for occasional slight dribble if I attempt a fart. Adductor muscles on right leg very weak. Possible trauma to obturator nerve, but improving.

Just paid for PSA test. Undetectable < 0.04 after 4 weeks. Phew.

Consultant follow up in 2 weeks.

UPDATED

April 2014

PSA checked 3 monthly. No change. Fit and well.
