Brit lives in Indiana, USA. He was 46 when he was diagnosed in May 20, 2010. His
initial PSA was 2.9 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 6 and he was staged T1c. His
choice of treatment was RALP (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy).
It's
one week after my surgery and waiting to get the tube out today. So far not too
bad, pain is manageable.
Not happy about reading all the horrible stories
of doom and gloom on the sex life from now onwards, last night in the New
York Times. I'll concentrate on my own situation and think positive.
Great
to have funny friends in your life, one of my biggest concern last week was not
bursting stitches/bleeding from laughing. Dealing with the tube was not as bad
as I thought - just deal with it.
I am pretty fit and can't wait to start
running again, I feel another marathon in the not too distant future. Just read
the 'Born to Run' book on ultra-running (maybe in the future ???).
