Doug Mrco and Pam live in Colorado, U.S.A.. He was 58 when he was diagnosed in August 1998. He does not know his PSA, his Gleason Score or his staging . His choice of treatment was RP (Radical Prostatectomy). Here is his story.

When it was first discovered that I had prostate cancer, I was given several choices. Removal of the prostate, seed implants or radiation. I choose the removal - surgery

My PSA. went to "0" and stayed there for over 8 years. Than it started to rise. I was told that the cancer was back. This time in my bones. I have 6 "spots" on my rib cage, one on each shoulder, one on my left knee and 3 on my spine. I am taking Lupron injections every 90 days. This is supposed to stop the cancer. I don't know if it a cure or not, but my PSA is back to "0" for now.

I tried radiation but that didn't do a thing. I was given radiation for 40 days in a row, for nothing!! Than I began to injections and that seemed to help. This is where I am at this point in time. I would love to hear input from others that have had this same thing happen to them.
